Domain registration terms

1. Making customers aware of Terms and Conditions.
General Terms
We will only undertake to do work or provide a service that is within our professional competence and won't claim any level of competence that we do not possess. We shall ensure that we have knowledge and understanding of relevant Legislation and that we comply with such Legislation, in carrying out our business.
We will carry out our business responsibilities with due care and diligence in accordance with our Customer’s requirements whilst exercising our professional judgement at all times. We will seek to avoid any situation that may give rise to a conflict of interest between the Company and our Customers. We won't disclose or authorise to be disclosed, or use for gain or to benefit a third party, confidential information except with the permission of the owner of that information, or as required by Legislation. We will not misrepresent or withhold information on the performance of products, systems or services (unless lawfully bound by a duty of confidentiality not to disclose such information), or take advantage of the lack of relevant knowledge or inexperience of others. We ensure that our Customers are given the best possible advice regardless of whether that advice is to the disadvantage of the Company.
We cannot be held responsible for anything resulting from the use of our products and services or lack of their operation or availability.
Clients must agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations in their use of our services. Any client found to be breaking any law or regulation in relation to their use of our services will have their accounts terminated. In this situation no refund will be provided.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend our relationship and service offering if we believe the service is not being used in good faith or being used in a way that negatively impacts other customers.

Domain Registrations
By registering or hosting a .uk domain with us you agree to the underlying registry (Nominet) Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registrations.
All registrant data provided for the purposes of domain registrations will be validated by us to ensure its accuracy. In the case of personal registrations this will be validated against billing details provided for payment of up-front invoices (verified credit card address/etc). For businesses we will validate against Companies House records. If any validation fails or we are in any way unsatisfied with the detail supplied we will ask for proof of details to be submitted such as personal identification or business bills.
Any address information supplied that cannot be verified will result in delays to the registration of domains. Periodic checks will be made to ensure contact details remain correct.
Your domain registrations could be at risk of suspension and/or termination if your details change and you fail to notify us.

Domain Expirations
If you request that you no longer wish to have your domain name renewed by us, or after your failure to pay any renewal fees due, the domain name will be left to expire and all services we provide regarding that domain name will be suspended. Your domain name will then go into a 30 day protected period, after 30 days your domain will be suspended by Nominet and it will go into a 60 day grace period. If you change your mind and still wanted to retain your domain name, you still can and at the original renewal price. This must be requested by email before the 80th day after your domain has expired. Approximately 93 days after expiry your domain will be cancelled and deleted from the register, and made available for resale through a third party registrar by Nominet. Premium will not guarantee the renewal of a domain name after this happens.

2. Customer Service Level commitments
We will acknowledge receipt of all customer communications, requests or complaints within one working day and will complete requests within three working days of the initial contact.
For domain name renewals and expiries, we will issue an expiry notice to you, by email, no more than 28 days prior and no less than 7 days prior to the expiry date of the domain. We will allow you to renew a domain name and maintain the registration in your own name if you request the renewal at any point up to one day before the point at which Nominet would cancel and delete the domain name, provided that such renewal does not breach any of our terms and conditions or of the Nominet Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration. You will be required to complete our data verification form and agree to the current terms and conditions at the time you request your renewal.

3. Complaints and appeal procedures
If we fail to meet our service level commitments or fail to meet your expectations then please make a complaint by using our contact page and provide as much detail as possible. Your complaint will be treated seriously and with our utmost attention until it is resolved.
If your complaint is regarding .UK domain registrations, renewals or expiry and is not resolved to your satisfaction you may escalate the complaint to Nominet or you can request a free domain transfer to a registrar of your choice.
For every complaint received, we will acknowledge it by email within 3 working days of the receipt, but usually much faster (in 24 hours).

4. Abuse contact
If you become aware of any breach of our Terms of Use and Service Policy, please report it with as much detail as possible via our contact details on the website or email us to abuse@premium.co.uk. We take abuse of our services very seriously and shall immediately investigate your reports and concerns.
